So as life progresses, new sets of obstacles attempt to block what was once good and balanced, but I am hanging in there. Got a part time job at a marketing firm to bring in some supplemental funds, its fum and the guy has an awesome taste in music.

So after a week of VERY warm weather, mid 70s and such, it finally gets cold enough to warrant a jacket, but unfortunately the winds pick up and I try to walk through the sand and dust blowing through the air, Thursday was especially bad as trying to drop off applications in the dust wasnt very cool.

But last nite was a surprise as when I went for a walk out I found it to be snowing, SNOWING here in cruces, not just the flurries and all, but really BIG flakes drifting out of the darkness, I ended up watching for half an hour.

Jeez so long ago since I put anything in this!
Lets see how good I do.

Well life has had its ups and downs, mainly in the middle and such all around. Its finally getting cold out here, people say its freezing here but I usually remind those who complain that back home the coldest it gets in the nite here is usually as cold as it gets back home IN THE DAY! And the fact that I dont wear a jacket or if I do its uaually a little blue windbraker I've had since high school. Im enjoying it though.

I dont know what else to say... hmm. Oh well.
Here are some pics of my buds and I

At the Air and Space Expo in Holloman Air Force Base

At my place, we just kept calling everyone and before we knew it it was a kind of party.

Jeez I keep posting at my myspace I keep neglecting this space here. Oh well. Nothing really happening. I slave in the hot sun here (ITS GETTING TO BE 80 OUT HERE!) choking on the dust. I guess thats what happens when I set up residence in a oasis in the freaking desert.

Still recovering from the ups and downs of life, so much. Anyho work work work is all I do nowadays, atleast I am getting a raise to do half the things I am asked to do in the field.

A friend of mine, I mean a friend since high school is heading to Kyrzigstan (I know I spelled it wrong) this weekend and a couple of friends are carpooling out there to see them off, we cant go into the terminal so we will say our goodbyes at the checkpoint. I am kinda reluctant to go, I am hesitant to say goodbye to others, I just dont like it. But I do want to see them off and say bye for a last time.

I saw an old friend of mine while I was on weed patrol with my coworker, it was nice to see her again, It made my day.

I need to learn how to paint without getting paint on myself. I mean im tired of explaining why my hands are blue or why my knees are green.

I dont know what else to say, so here is a "Lemur"
Needless to say, caffene was the cause of it.

THe weather has been cold and soggy for the past two months, unfortunately this does not bode well when all we do is work outside, we cant paint or stripe or anything, so we get stuck inside (like now) and have to put up with some people in the office. Its not bad except for some people in the office who just annoy us.

We have had all this stuff we need to do in some of the parking lots but its all wet. So we are just bumming around looking for work to do, we need to do inventory but all the cool stuff we found and all the other things are either lost or just dissapeared off the face of the earth. We had to inventory squad cars, officer equipment, computers, cameras, even two ballistic shields and two Remington sniper rifles.

One of the things we are doing is researching for our court cases, some of our citations are being formally contested and they are being taken to court, so we need to look for information and protect our decision to cite these vehicles. Really fun.

Wow have not put anything down here for a while, But I got nothing to write about, hmm...

Work is good, I am doing less atrol and enforcement stuff and doung more projects like striping and painting curbs, lot upkeep and *uggh* Inventory, but its all good actually, Its a far cry from what im doing but I figure im getting a lot more experience, plus this gives me more freedom in the office. One thing is taking pictures, I love taking pictures, so as a result this will probably become more of a pic blog than anything. Which I guess will be more interesting than anything I have to say, right?

Anyho I did have an interesting experience on my last night patrol last semester. So me and Deevo are patrolling near the Art Building, slow night just more security than anything, so we come up to this vehicle that is parked in front of a dumpster, we take a look and decide its not worth our time to cite so we head back to the truck, suddenly something catches my eye at the corner of the dumpster, I shine my flaslight at it, and I see this:Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Deevo and I look at each other and back at the "body", people are starting to walk towards it and so do we, they look up at us and Deevo asks "Is she ok?" while I am ready to radio police dispatch with a 10-62 (Officer Needs IMMEDIATE Assistance). The guy stops us and says its not what it seems and that its just a dummy dressed up for an art project. We make a relaxed chuckle and walk towards it to confirm its a dummy, it is. People are gathering around taking pictures, as we are walking back to the truck one of them stops up an asks if he can get a picture taken with the "body" we oblige and we pose taking its vitals, I give them my camera and they snap this:
So we call it a nite and the next morning we freak out our coworkers with the pictures and explain to them what it was.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And this one... Well I was hopped up on caffene and had a great time at our Halloween Office Party soo...

And this one just because, its my coworker Lemur, Nadine and I were taking pictures of her just to annoy her, she threatened us with bodily harm, she had her pepper spray, we complied.

One thing about my picture taking is that I tend to catch people when they are unprepared, this has led to threats of harm or revokation of my camera privleges.

So Halloween was the big thing, and I was stuck at work. We had a bit lunch at work everyone pitched in and got food. It was great free food. I was stuck on evening shift though. It was still interesting, Cris and I did mostly security, stopped by a couple of friends place to "trick or treat." We got to see the K9 dogs dressed up. Miki was a devil and Rico was a clown, they were so cool. Anyho we drove through Student Family Housing and watched all the trick or treaters.

After work another friend and I went to the movies and cought a late showing of Employee of the Month, we just talked and I kept falling asleep on the movie. after that she dropped me off, we were too tired to do anything else.

For some reason I have a stomach ache, I have had one on and off for the past week and its more annoying than anything.

*Yawn* Sleep eludes me this week, well technically I could do something about it, a friend has been calling me sporadically for the last two weeks around 2 or 3 in the morning, asking "If I was already awake" of course I am and we talk for 4 hours and I only end our conversation because I have to get ready for work, at 6:10.

Work is work, had a job interview a week ago for a comp tech position at DABCC. Its great, 10+ bucks and hour and benefits, I hope I get it, they told me wait for a reply for two weeks. One thing is I have to leave the office and all my friends, oh well.

My allergies seem to be fine now, so far just sniffles and such, nothing else really. which is great cosidering I though I would die because before I went home for the Fair at the beginning of September it was bad, really bad.
