CNN.com - Ronald Reagan dead at 93 - Jun 5, 2004

Rest In Peace

Ronald "Gipper" Regan

Former President of the United States 1981-1989

February 6, 1911 ~ June 5, 2004

Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Forces: You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely.

But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!

I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full victory!

Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.

Well today was restful, nothing to do but kick back. I go to work in the evening's now, catching a ride with my shift manager.

My roomate went home last night. He called me last night and told me they stopped him at the border patrol checkpoint, 10 or 15 miles out side of town there is a Porder Patrol checkpoint that asks if you are an american citizen, I guess its the combination of having a good looking Durango, driving in the late of night (1 am) andlooking mexican, they ended up searching the vehcle and letting adog inspect it while my roomate was questioned. He just couldnt stop laughing. It was so funny, he has something to tell his family back home now.

I have to wash my uniform too, smells like grease and fries, my roomate wants me to do his uniform too. I will probably do it tomorrow after work. I have graveyard tonight, horay, its going to be interesting, 10 pm to 5:30 am, then I do the same thing again tomorrow.

I need to go back to White Sands, maybe I can go back when everyone comes back for school.

Today is the 15th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Protests in China. Thousands of Chinese students and democratic activists demonstrated in a bid fro democracy and freedom from the socialist powers. Hundreds of People's Liberation Army troops and Paramilitary Police tried to break up the activists, many were gunned down as troops broke up the multi day rally, The picture above has come to symbolize the struggle for freedom in China, this unknown individual engaged in a modern-day David versus Goliath showdown. Standing down a column of tanks sent in to mop up the remaining activists, described as a "unknown soldier of the Chinese democratic revolution." Some think he may be a 19-year-old named Wang Weilin, but there are speculators who still doubt the identity of the person who stood down these tanks. Today the search continues for the individual, not only by political activists, but by the government. Today the square is guarded with hundreds of police officers and paramilitary police officials, perhaps to discourage any anniversary gathering by political activists and no apoligies or remamberances have been proclaimed by the goverment for the massacre of thousands during and after the crackdown.

Bush the Uber Fundie
Why does this image just creep me out? The scary thing is that its a real actual photo, no Photoshopping.
Bush the Uber Fundie.

Well work sucked today, got stuck on front drawer today, we had a bad lunch rush at noon and things got so crazy, I forgot things on people's orders, forgot my codes to ingredients, forgot to give ouit change several times, argh, just so many things I just felt discouraged and I wanted to go home, my supervisor wanted me to stay for another hour, but I really didnt so I told him I cant. Just everything! Oh well, one of my old coworkers from the Lab came in today, I really didnt know what to do so I hid in the back until he left the counter then mulled at the fry station while he ate, I dont know why I hid, was i ashamed because I have redueced myself to servingo food, from being paid too much for too little to paid too little for too much, I swear the crap they make these prople do.

Unfortunately I couldnt get time off from work so I wouldnt be going home tonight. Just my roomate. I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!!!! I actually miss home, I miss my borthers! I miss my mom! I miss my home! I miss my grandparents! I am starting to hate living out here, just too much things! I just want to tell myself FARK IT ALL and go home. But I cant, too many people are counting on me so I have no choice, no matter how much crap happens. No matter how much things can get worse. The heat is too much here, yesterday it hit 104 and today it seemed around that temp too.

Got paid, whop di farking doo, most of it went to bills, my roomate thought it was equal to have me pay half for groceries, even though for the past month he has been mooching off of me, while he bought DVD's and shite I used my money to buy ham and bread, and he bitched about it too, LIKE HE PAYS FOR IT!! I just feel like kicking his butt out. Complain about that!!!! Anyhohe bought most of the stuff and a whole lot of things like cookies and juice and REAL meat, I asked him what was it all for and he told me his sister is coming down when he comes back saturday nite, I though she was just saying that... oh well.

In other news I started talking to my friends from Tucson, the shining point of my week, anyho It was good to hear from them, they are visiting relatives there and they plan to come on back through sometime next week.

I am hungry now, I think I will order out, hmmmmmm, Brocolli and Beef and Teriyaki Chicken and Fried Rice... or Ramen, probably ramen. and watch some DVD's we rented, Last Exile 3rd disc, Kino's Journey, Sakura Wars and Angelic Layer, LE and AL I have seen, I dont know how the rest are, I almost rented the whole Great Teacher Onizuka series, sans the last disc, and I wanted to take it home too, give my brother some decent anime to watch instead of the Adult Swim stuff. Me I am trying to increase my repertoire of anime, hence the Sakura Wars, Kino's Journey and Angelic Layer, I have seen the first disc to AL, its interesting. I still want to get the Haibane Renmei series (4 Discs). I guess thats it.

Mmmmm Ramune, damn the Zen store, they are all out of pocky and ramune. Although I still Perfer Bawls.

G4techTV - Stay Connected
Merger Information/

Well its finally happened, looks like G4 has assimilated TechTV and replaced their website with this drab, plain, crappy excuse for webspace. But from the looks of it Leo is back as the host of The Screensavers and X Play still exists. Stupid Comcast. I miss the old TechTV, even though I dont watch it anymore after Comca$t tried to milk its viewers/subscibers with higher rates and sub-par, stale programming. I heard G4 was just so godawful except for the hosts of several shows on there. But anyho, thats my spiel about the world, its all "Dubya's" fault!!! Anyho today was alright, not much to report. How come everyone always come to me with their problems, tonight alone I had two of my friends come to me to talk about their ravings, I wouldnt divulge names or situations for respect of friends and privacy. Its so wierd, I dont talk to people much but when they talk to me they let everything be known, problems not withstanding. I had the same problem in high school, most of the people I worked with were really open to me. But all that changed after that. Well anyho, off to bed.
