Well its been a very busy week, so far work has been practically taking most of my time, school is just around the corner and I am having trouble getting my schedule together. Ahh, at least I can say its not boring.

A little old Laguna lady came into work yesterday, I was ready to take her order and she asked me where the Wal-Mart. I had to keep myself from chuckling and pointed to her it was across the interstate, I knew she was a native, just the way she looked and the vehicle she came in and her "rez" accent. Wal-Mart is the unoffical gathering of nations in native worlds. Just go to one and you will be sure of seeing someone you know, possibly a whole other family.

I got a raise at work yesterday. a 25 cent raise that does little to my current pay. But its money, manager came by one evening I was working and pulled me aside, told me he was giving this to me because I was one of the few remaining summer employed people that were still working and working good. He went on to tell me the crew leaders had nice things to say about me and they like working with me because I get my chores done. It was a welcome complement and it inspired me.

We have been getting a lot of new people at work, lately, we lost two good workers and we got replacements. Today I was training one, tall gangly white kid, he was good at obeying instructions, but very slow, during lunch you cannot be slow, but he got the work done and followed instructions, he just needs to be faster and more alert in his new surroundings. but it was ok working with him, I am just not good at teaching.

Went home two weeks ago for some traditional doings, I had a great time, although I didnt get to do most of the things I wanted to do, It was so much fun to see my brothers, my grandparents, my cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews. It was just so much fun. For the first time in a while I promptly fell asleep at my home, no more insomnia, guess I was that comfortable. Played with my little brother too, the kid is getting so big. I remember holding him and he was so fragile, so small, such a small thing. Now he is this rough little boy. I had fun at my grandparents house and seeing all my relatives, and getting the chance to eat Fry Bread and steak and hamburgers, a decent homecooked meal for once that didnt involve Ramen or sliced ham.

Found three CDs I was looking for all this month, Pitchshifters album with the song Stop Talking and the Spygame soundtrack, all at Hastings, they have a pretty good selection of old and hard to find CDs and I was happy to find them on sale and the other used but in excellent condition. Stop Talking I heard on a decent AMV action montage i found a while back with Naruto, Spriggan, the Samaurai (sp?) X movies and other footage, its a pretty decent song, the whole album is pretty cool. Spy Game I wanted just because I cant resist the music of Harry Gregson-Wiiliams and his electronic/orchestra music.

Well its getting late and I am hungry, off to work, their breakfast is pretty good.
