So now I am reaping the benefits of all this rain, humidity and worse yet, allergies. I have never had allergies until I came down here, hay, dust no problem until I came down here. All the rain created a bumber crop of weeds and its left me with my throat itchy, my nose runny and irritataed and my eyes scratchy. I was afraid it would be something else because I have been getting eaten alive by mosquitos out there.

Well the semester started here, its been busy, we have been diverted from our other tasks to help out as a security detail to the two mobile units selling permits on campus, one at Corbett, the other at Ed Services, Its alright, at Ed Services its indoors so you dont have to be in the sun, but its boring as hell. At Corbett we have a tin booth with just a fan and wheezing AC in the sun, plus we are right by the mall so I always get the stares or glares from people, plus I get to talk to a friend or two.

Last night was fun, we chased skunks and this stupid dog that thought it was a good idea to walk around in traffic. It would just walk down the center of the road until a car comes the he would weave around the car until it passed, then continue its stroll. We saw a skunk too and we soon worried that they would meet, well they did but the dog was smart enough to back off and not give chase when the skunk ran into the hedges. That and this stupid bug was getting on my nerves in the unit, I slapped my head and I would miss it, Cris thought I was crazy or something, I tried to chase it out of the truck, finally after pissing me off, and providing some amount of entertainment for my coworker, I just smeared the green farker on the window.

And I dont know how to deal with friends who are mad at me, some say fark em, but I cant do that, I am trying my best to bring things to a resolution, but I never dealt with this before and its disheartening and sad. Nevertheless I must keep fighting.
