Pope John Paul II
Karol Jozef Wojtyla

May 18, 1920 ~ April 2, 2005

I am not a religious person but this guy deserves respect, contributing to the fall of Communism in his native Poland and all. The new Pope will have a large pair of shoes to fill.

What is it with this week, whats with all these people kicking the bucket, now the Pope is almost ready to keel, I wonder if this is a April Fools joke.
I hope I dont get fooled or nothing surprises me today, going to work and spending time with friends, hopefully the remainder of today will go smoothly.

Well its been a busy week, apart from all the running around and working its been boring. I am in the process of looking for another job right now, still at my old one, got several leads and just emailed my resume through, hope to get a reply, getting tired of fast food.

Came close to cursing off my boss Friday night last week, but it was all for the good, I actually feel better now, let off some steam and he noticed it, working a little better now. Now we got word corporate is coming into town Monday and we barely found out yesterday, so we had an emergency meeting this morning at 8 bloody o clock and discussed what needed to be done, mainly some touch ups to the store and extra cleaning, too bad I have weekend graveyards then Sunday off, have to get a whole mess of stuff done and still my usual chores on top of it.

Today is my day off I really needed it, I am working with some really high-strung, hyper people for the last week, two girls in particular during my evening shifts, they are really too noisy for me and they are always loud and arrgh, just really happy people. They give me headaches, but they are really good workers, talk too much though.

Have not been sleeping too well lately, getting 4 to 5 hours of sleep a nite, still getting used to sleeping in the night, Tuesday I actually slept almost 9 hours, that made up for lost sleep from last week. I take naps every now and then to try to sneak some recharge time.

Ate out with a coworker Sophie and her mother and aunt last week ate at this neat little bistro called Casa Luna, had pasta and lasagna, it was great. Turns out her aunt used to work on the reservation, visiting the chapter houses and meeting the delegates as some sort of attache to the state, so it was interesting, said she also met President Shirley when he was just a boy. So we had lots to talk about, aside from Sophie's eagerness to try out her Tae Kwan Do restraining moves on me (my wrist still hurts) overall it was a pretty interesting evening, something different.

So here I am sitting in my room watching the second season of Futurama, splurdged and bought the First and Second sets, worth it. I am planning on spending some time in Mescalero with some friends, saving up money, get away for a while, I am also planning a personal summer getaway, somewhere far, possibly Seattle, or somewhere east; still deciding.

Well I am going to go out, possibly see some friends and do some thing like watch a movie or something.
