Finished training this week, the only thing I have left is my pepper spray course. Got some training from a PD investigator today, he was pretty cool too, he told us if we ever came upon and surprised someone stealing/vandalizing/lifting a car, get out your pepper spray and start booking it, chances are he will run in the opposite direction or start after you; if we dont have your pepper spray, pull out your clipboard (one of those heavy duty metal covered things) and let em have it, then run. Yeah, very effective.
Went home for Thanksgiving, unlike my last job I had practically the whole week off. Aahh home cooked food, turkey, pie, even mutton stew and fry bread, yum. It was great to be home, saw my family, my brothers. It was great, I did very little work around the house than ususal, they were more willing to ask my other brothers for help, which was ok by me. Saw my grandparents too, went to a scouts game in Ft Defiance. I had a great time, and in a couple of weeks I will be heading back. I wanted to bring back some food, but all i brought was a cold.
Ran into Sophia today at Frenger's after eating lunch, t was good to see her, I guess she was just as busy as me, its been a while, but she still talks up a storm. I ended up late for my training just talking to her. Oh well, time well spent.
Everybody around here is getting ready for finals, I wanted to go to the movies last night and everyone I called was out getting tutoring or studying or getting their final projects completed. I ended up doing nothing. just sleeping early. I am going to try again tonight.
And I have to go catch the bus.
