One thing I never get tired of is popping the heads of Krauts with my snper rifle, one thing I like is the now noticeable spray of blood that transpires around them when I delete a large portion of their cranium. Thanks to a new mod recently acquired by my roomate. It adds new items to the maps and skins to everything, one is the flak gun carrier, its either mounted on a half track or army truck depending on the side you fight on, tanks and existing vehicles get more decals, and my personal favorite.... new weapons, you get a new assault class weapon for the Huns and the Brits, a assault rifle whose name eludes me too long to remember anyways (although I do remember it being refered to as a Paratrooper Rifle in atleast two games) and the brits have the Bren Gun, an extraordinary killing implement, while the Yankees have a new Light Machine Gun. The tanks have been worked up and you get to see several new tanks including the Panzer Mark IV Special, Sherman II (?) and a wierd Kraut tank with the large gun integrated into the hull with no coaxal machine gun. With our recent purchase of the Secret Weapons pack we got the weapons listed and also two monsters of tanks, the Germans have this tank with a Tiger chassis and a large civil war mortar like "naval gun" and the Americans have this HUGE, monster of a tank, huge sucker with two pairs of treads and seemingly impervious, and with a main gun putting the Tiger's armament to shame. Also changed is the deleting of the anti-tank trooper profile, taken in place the secondary assault class, the weapons are found on a ammo box or in select bunkers/pillboxes and are significantly more powerful, in several variants differenced by map you get either a K 98 with a bayonet (with secondary thrusting attack) or a K 98 with rifle grenades (extremely useful against armour but infantry unaffected. Nevertheless these new mods have actually made the game even better and have given me an excuse to cease playing my DCX and DCX RTR mods. Now I am virtually impervious when I am in a tank, preferably in a M10 or the always entertaining Tiger or Panzer Mk IV Sp, not having to dodge two dozen anti tank bazooka or panzerfaust rounds, all I have to worry about is other tanks and mines and the human player with the AT weapons. Again the Germans have a better sniper rifle, weaker than the KAR 98 Sniper but semiautomatic and sturdier, the second semiauto rifle next to the Garand. The sniper rifles of the Brits suck. When allies i tend to steal the rifles off any dead Kraut sniper. Today I got most of my errands done, I turned in a application to Las Cruces Motorsport just to see what happens and declared my major finally. I am a BCS person now. Although I wanted to stay in CS i know I just could not stand up to the Math, I loath math so much. Also I was just told my roomate's sister wants to stay with us for a short period during the summer, now we have to find a couch with a roll away bed, I dont think there will be any trouble at all, my roomate and I will be away at work, I dont know what she is going to do. Anyways I had better get to sleep, but Im not tired, my insomnia is rearing its ugly head again, I have to stop drinking Coke and Iced Tea after midnite. Oh well its late and I will have to try and sleep.
